Ms. Schoemaker joined Domain at its inception in 1985 as Chief Financial Officer, and she became a Partner in 1992. Ms. Schoemaker oversees the financial and administrative aspects of Domain and the funds that it manages. She is responsible for investor liaison, financial reporting, and the monitoring of legal, tax and SEC developments and changes that affect industry practices. Ms. Schoemaker has developed the information systems that enable Domain to effectively track its portfolio investments, and she also serves as a financial information resource for many of the start-up companies in which Domain invests. Ms. Schoemaker is a C.P.A. (Inactive status), and from 1982 through 1985 she worked in the public accounting field as an auditor and most recently as a tax specialist with KPMG. Prior to her public accounting experience, Ms. Schoemaker spent five years in a variety of positions in the insurance and banking industries.
