Mr. Podlesak joined Domain as a Partner in 2007 and has been working with Domain since 2004. Since joining the Domain team, Mr. Podlesak has served as Chief Executive Officer, board member and a founder for a number of Domain’s portfolio companies. Mr. Podlesak first served as the Chief Executive Officer and board member for Peninsula Pharmaceuticals and after building the company, led the sale of Peninsula to Johnson and Johnson. In his next role, Mr. Podlesak served as Chief Executive Officer, founder and board member of Cerexa, which became a wholly–owned subsidiary of Forest Laboratories after Mr. Podlesak led the growth and sale of the company to Forest. Mr. Podlesak was also Chief Executive Officer, founder and board member of Calixa Therapeutics, which was acquired by Cubist, and Chairman of Corthera, which was acquired by Novartis AG. Mr. Podlesak is currently serving as the Chairman of the Board at Adynxx, Regado Biosciences and Syndax Pharmaceuticals. Mr. Podlesak has over 20 years of strategic, operational and commercial experience within the pharmaceutical industry, and a track record of success in growing companies and leading business development, financing and M&A initiatives. Prior to Domain, Mr. Podlesak served as Senior Vice President and Head of the North American Business Unit for Novartis AG and as a member of Novartis' Pharmaceutical Executive Committee and Global Leadership Team. Earlier in his career, Mr. Podlesak served as Vice President and Head of the CEC division of Allergan, Inc., and as member of Allergan's North American and Global Management Team. Mr. Podlesak spent the first ten years of his career with SmithKline Beecham (now GlaxoSmithKline plc).
