Mr. Heil joined Domain in 2008. Prior to joining Domain, he worked at Bear Stearns & Co. as a member of the managed care equity research team. Prior to that, Mr. Heil was an investment banking associate for EKN Financial, a boutique investment bank where he focused on company due diligence and screening opportunities. From 2005 through 2006, he was a consultant with Easton Associates (formerly The Wilkerson Group), a management consultancy dedicated to the medical industry. While with Easton Associates, he worked on a variety of projects for clients that ranged from venture capital firms to medical device companies and international pharmaceutical organizations. Mr. Heil served clients by assessing market opportunities of pipeline projects, screening M&A targets, developing product launch strategies and other business development activities. He earned a bachelor’s degree in systems engineering with a focus in healthcare management from the University of Pennsylvania, and while in school helped develop a hospital discharge decision support system to assist clinicians with identifying patients for home care visits post discharge.
